The quick answer is that as soon as you unlock the Masked Dancer Archetype, you’ll start noticing that most enemies in the game will start dropping them from that point.

As a result, equipping the Lucky Find or Luckier Find Passives will help, as will stealing them with a Thief Archetype whenever the moment arises. On top of that, you’ll also encounter some in chests or as general pickups in dungeons and labyrinths.

The Wary Shopkeeper is the easiest way to get hold of any Mask ingredient you may be seeking in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Port Brilehaven’s Eugief Wary Shopkeeper

There is one way you can purchase specific Mask ingredients, although you’ll be limited to one per day and the wares change on a given day. If you head to Port Brilehaven’s Seabreeze Street, you’ll notice a Eugief merchant to the right who will only sell a Medicinal Herb, but speaking to him, you’ll see there’s more to him than meets the eye.

Continue through the adventure until you reach the Virga Islands for the first time and visit the Informant at the Golden Deer Hearth Tavern to purchase the information on the shopkeeper for 1,000 Reeve.
