A Clear Mind is Neve Gallus’s fourth companion quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and can be accessed after the Fire and Ice Main Quest. Read on to find out where you need to go and what you get for completing the quest.

Starting the A Clear Mind Quest¶

Once you’ve completed the Fire and Ice Main Quest, speak with Neve to trigger the quest “Chasing Leads” (which is just a short scene) and then return to her at the Guesthouse immediately afterwards to begin A Clear Mind! Head over to Dock Town and speak with Neve who can be found on the Low Tide Beach Area.

Search For Rocks¶

Neve needs some time to clear her head after all the past and current events, so she wants you to find some rocks. Head east and you’ll find one group of rocks just before the destroyed shack, then go through the shack to two more bundles of rocks next to the rock and sea. With all the rocks collected (3 in total), follow Neve over towards the dock to trigger a scene, but make sure you give the friendly cat some love first.

After you’ve finished some rock throwing, head around to the back of the large building (westernmost point of the Smuggler’s Docks) and climb up the ladder. Follow the path along to the south until you reach the location of where you fought Albin Bateris during The Smuggled Relic Case Main Quest. Use Neve’s ability to investigate the two remnants, then head through the corridor and interact with a third remnant to trigger a scene.

A Clear Mind Quest Rewards¶

Throughout this scene you’ll have some dialogue choices, but these won’t change your relationship status with Neve so you’re safe to choose what you want. After the scene the quest will come to a close and you’ll be rewarded with 500 XP, Wicked Calling Card and Neve Bond Increase.
